As an extension to Stratum’s regularly planned, Quarterly Board of Directors Meeting, Stratum Leadership, with the support of the Board of Directors and the Board Planning Committee, engaged in a strategic work session in Chicago at the end of June. The Stratum Board recognizes that in today’s healthcare landscape, groups and companies need to be forward looking and constantly reinventing themselves to continue to grow and be leaders in their field. As such, Stratum took this opportunity to reflect on where we are and to test the waters on what’s next.
During the retreat, time was designated to have a facilitated session, led by a Deloitte consulting team, to 1) review current and future trends impacting physicians, physician groups, and integrated health systems, 2) identify future challenges and strategic opportunities in the healthcare industry, and, 3) set the stage for the development of a full-scale strategic plan for Stratum that will be focused on growth and diversification. An expected outcome of this work will be to clearly understand and outline the Board’s perspective on the strategic direction of Stratum Med and to obtain a set of future priorities that will position Stratum to best serve its shareholders and clients beyond 2025.
