Medical Records Committee

The Stratum Medical Records Committee is composed of Medical Records management personnel from each Shareholder. The Stratum Med Medical Records Committee was formed in 2001 with the purpose of:

  • Offering Shareholders an opportunity to network, function as mutual resources, share benchmarking data and develop work plans for common initiatives.
  • Create a resource library through Stratum's web page for policies, procedures, job descriptions, training and other relevant documents.

The Medical Records Committee meets on a regular monthly basis through a teleconference forum to discuss a variety of topics and exchange information. Recent topics of discussion for the Medical Records Committee have been:

  • HIPAA Privacy Implementation
  • Electronic Medical Records
  • Medical Records Policies, Job Descriptions and Processes
  • Benchmarking
  • e-Learning
