Group Purchasing programs are critical for organizations to remain competitive by reducing operating costs. Stratum Med contracted with ARI/AmeriNet for group purchasing of supplies and services. AmeriNet is one of the largest and most respected purchasing organizations in the nation. As a Group Purchasing Organization, AmeriNet negotiates on behalf of its members volume discount contracts providing members with favorable pricing, terms, and conditions, and other benefits. The AmeriNet programs include medical products, pharmacy products, medical equipment, furniture, office and administrative supplies, as well as housekeeping materials. AmeriNet offers the groups multi-source product choices through 350,000 contracts representing 500,000 product lines.

Stratum Med achieved significant discounts ranging from 15-25% by leveraging the Stratum Med physician buying power. Stratum Med has access to the AmeriNet pricing normally only available to members who commit to purchase 75% of their supplies through AmeriNet.

The objective of Stratum Med's Group Purchasing Organization is to benefit Stratum Shareholders by lowering the acquisition and distribution cost of medical supplies, equipment, pharmaceuticals and office supplies. Through an alliance with AmeriNet, Stratum has developed a non-acute care integrated delivery network to give Stratum Shareholders access to pricing, services, and features which are typically available only to hospitals.

The aforementioned agreements bring each Stratum Shareholder, regardless of individual size, pricing and benefits which are typically available only to large groups and networks.
