Director of Recruitment Services

Ms. Downs joined Stratum Med in 2006 and brings with her twenty-four years of physician recruitment experience. She began her work in recruitment as an employee of James Russell, Inc., a healthcare consulting firm specializing in physician recruitment, medical staff planning and physician network development. She then was hired by two large hospital systems to build physician recruitment departments from the ground up. These health systems were Genesis Health System in the Quad Cities (Iowa/Illinois) and The Methodist Hospitals in NW Indiana.

Ms. Downs holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Western Michigan University and is active in the Medical Group Management Association and the Associate of Staff Physician Recruiters.
