Executive Director, Purchasing
Ms. Pellum has more than 30 years in healthcare management. As the Executive Director
for Compliance she is responsible for Stratum's Compliance/HIPAA, Medical Records
and Safety Work Groups. Key initiatives for the work groups are networking, best
practices development, benchmarking and shared resources. As the Executive Director
of Group Purchasing she assists Stratum members in helping reduce purchasing expenses
through leveraged buying. She works directly with the materials, lab and radiology
managers to achieve savings benefits through Stratum negotiated contracts and through its
purchasing partner, Amerinet.
Prior to joining Stratum, Ms. Pellum held the positions of Support Services Director
and Business Services Director for a 75-physician multispeciality group. Her
undergraduate degree is from Eastern Illinois University and she has a Masters in
Business Administration from the University of Illinois. She has earned from the
Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA) their healthcare compliance credentials
CHC and CHP through ecFirst HIPAA Academy.
